U Camps
The Manitoba Alpine Ski Division offers U camps (age designation) throughout the year for additional athletic development. These camps are offered in Spring (Banff), Summer (Mt Hood, OR), Fall (Banff). Additional in-province U camps are offered throughout the winter season. These camps allow athletes desiring more to opportunities for development to acquire skills and experience at larger venues.
Whistler Cup
Athletes qualify for this camp based on Prairie Selection Guidelines. Minimum Fitness Standards must be achieved as defined by PSO.
U16 Whistler Cup
Quota: 6 total. Each province is allocated a minimum of one (1) quota spot per gender.
Prairie Team (3 spots/gender)
Formula: Best Regional Selection SL + Best Regional Selection GS = total score. Athletes with the 3 lowest total scores will qualify Prairie Team. Ties will be decided using next best overall placing from U16 Can-Am Western until tie is broken.
• Substitutions on Prairie Team will be selected based on Results Calculation*.

Selection procedures for out of province events: Can-Am Westerns, Whistler Cup, Nationals
Canada Winter Games
Selection Principles:1.To represent the Manitoba Alpine Ski Division at the Canada Winter Games with the strongest performance possible.2.To select (as close as possible) the best athletes in all three disciplines to represent the province.3.To ensure a team atmosphere is developed to represent Manitoba in general, with the highest degree of character.
